Highlighting a critical component of the tobacco curing operation, the Heritage Tray incorporates reclaimed tier rails from within the vintage barns. These rails spanned the width of the barn, providing multiple levels (tiers) upon which tobacco leaves could be hung for drying. Slight planing and sanding of these boards reveals rich patinas and character only attainable through decades of wear and intense heat cycles.
This tray features bronzed cast iron handles and is available only in a natural finish to showcase the uniqueness of the wood. As with all other pieces, engraving on the reverse indicates the family farm and coordinates of the reclamation.
